A few grown-up rules.
These terms apply when a family uses TypeCub. They are intentionally short and will be reviewed again before optional payments open.
Using TypeCub
TypeCub is a general educational game for families. A parent or guardian is responsible for deciding whether it is appropriate for a child and for supervising the child’s device and keyboard use.
Free access
The current game is provided without charge. Optional financial support does not unlock features, create an account, or change the experience available to another family.
Optional support
A grown-up may leave a voluntary support payment through Stripe. It is not a purchase, subscription, tax-deductible charitable contribution, or promise of future features. Our refund policy, Stripe’s checkout terms, and privacy notice apply to payment processing.
No guarantees
TypeCub is provided as available. We work to keep it accurate and reliable, but do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular learning outcome, or identical speech pronunciation on every device.
Respecting the service
Do not interfere with the site, attempt to gain unauthorized access, distribute malicious software through it, or use its artwork or software in a way that violates applicable licenses or law.
Artwork and ownership
The TypeCub name, interface, and original copy belong to the TypeCub project. Picture artwork is adapted from Google Noto Emoji and used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Other software retains its applicable license.
Updates
